Built-in expertise in New York cannabis licensing

New York is now issuing cannabis licenses

In April 2021, New York State legalized adult-use marijuana.  In 2022, the State Office of Cannabis Management began issuing licenses.  P&B represents businesses in all tiers of the cannabis industry, from cultivators to retailers, in the complex cannabis licensing process.

New York's marijuana licensing laws are heavily influenced by the state's alcoholic beverage licensing laws.  Given our firm's depth of knowledge and experience with alcoholic beverage regulation, we have built-in expertise on the processes, requirements, and strategy considerations behind successful cannabis license applications.
