Adult-Use Marijuana is Coming to New York State
Update: Despite much support, the effort to legalize marijuana in New York and regulate it like alcohol failed to cross the finish line in 2019. Pesetsky & Bookman remains on the cutting-edge of all the latest developments as lawmakers in Albany create the state's marijuana licensing system, which we expect to be revisited in the 2020 legislative session. Given our firm's depth of knowledge and experience with alcohol regulation, we will be at the forefront of adult-use marijuana licensing in New York once the legalization bill becomes law. In the meantime, we are available for preliminary marijuana licensing consultations.
